It’s been almost a month, and a lot has been going on in Chromesville.

Brian and i have spent the last week of May in sunny Redmond, working with the VSCore
and ASP.NET teams on the ASP.NET 2.0 support and IDE integration for Chrome. It’s
been an awesome week, and everyone has been very nice, amazingly helpful and not
to mention very much interested in Chrome and its success. ASP.NET 2.0 is an amazing advancement
from version 1.1, and in personally can’t wait to find the time to build my first
real website with Chrome ;-)

For the past two week now, we’ve been busy finalizing this (and a lot more) into
a solid preview build that we’ll be making available publicly to trial users, early
next week.

So stay tuned, as next to full Visual Studio 2005 and ASP.NET 2.0 support, **Build**
**.191** will bring a lot more cool things and will be quite an improvement over
the current .171 build that you guys have been playing with so far – my list shows
over 150 fixes, tweaks and new features.

After .191 is out, we’ll have about 50 (currently) known issues – most of them minor
tweaks – to work out before we will call Chrome 1.0 final – which i hope will happen
by the end of the month \[but only If It’s Ready™\].
