Hi everyone.

I'm happy to announce the immediate availability of Remoting SDK and Data Abstract 9.5, which is a significant new update to our beloved remoting and multi-tier frameworks.

Version 9.5 contains a vast number of improvements, enhancements and fixes across all tools and platforms.

To start with, we have new and improved IDE support for some of your favorite development tools. This includes brand-new integration into Water, our new IDE for Elements, with templates and other integrated IDE support for .NET, Cocoa and Java, support for the new/imminent Delphi 10.3 "Rio", as well as – by popular request – improved support for C++Builder, as well.

Several cool enhancements have been made to SSL/TLS support in Remoting SDK for .NET Servers. Servers can now more easily load existing TLS certificates from the certificate store, and there's support for automatically reloading short-lived certificates at intervals. This makes it, among other things, super easy to use free LetsEncrypt certificates, and/or reuse certificates that are already managed in IIS.

Other highlights include enhancements to the HTTP API for publishing RO servers, new database drivers (including for Pervasive SQL via ADO.NET), support for custom serializers on .NET, improvements to CodeFirst servers in Delphi to bring them to feature parity with NET, as well as additions to the Scripting API and the Local Data Adapter, and so much more.

As always, make sure to check out the full change logs at remobjects.com/changelogs, for the complete list of changes.

Also as always, 9.5 is a free update for everyone with an active Remoting SDK, Data Abstract or Suite subscription. If you don't have a license yet, now is a great time to jump on board, and if your existing subscription has lapsed, make sure to renew now, to not miss out on what version 9.5 has to offer!
